Abstract:
Brain tumors are amongst the most relentless of human cancers, with an almost near certain mortality. Investigations over the course of seven decades have produced modest improvements in care/innovation to improve the lives of these patients. This talk will highlight my research efforts to better understand some of the biological cues and investigations that are offer insights into novel approaches to combat such a relentlessly awful disease. In addition, such an understanding can also have a global opportunity to devise unique therapeutics for a variety of brain pathologies.
