In the last part of this year, a series of inner seminars for faculties have started, chaired by Prof. Francesco Zonta. The acronym chosen for the meetings is TGIF meeting, that is The Great Inner Friday Meeting, however they are also known as Thanks God Is Friday Meeting.
The scope of the seminars is to create contacts and speak about the research projects that are carried on in the institute in an informal, yet constructed, way. Spreading of information and knowledge is of fundamental importance in an institute like SIAIS, which gather together researcher from many different scientific area and with different expertise. The seminars, thus, represent the ideal forums not only to present recent results and publications or to discuss about new ideas and ongoing projects, but also to share knowledge and describe experimental or theoretical tools.
During 2015 three talks have been hosted, listed hereafter, and due to the success of the initiative and the great participation, also of people from other departments and institutes, we are encouraged to continue the series also in 2016.
